In the mid 1980's, when I was teaching art at Weber State College in Utah, my younger brother Tim Fox (1962-2007) started sending me poems from Alaska that I liked quite a bit.
Around the same I began using Apple Macintosh computers at the computer lab at Weber. The hot application at the time was Superpaint. I used it to turn Tim's poems into a hybrid of visual and literary art. You can view the results here:
